OH DODD HPC Provider Annual Training List

In order to better server DODD clients, OH DODD requed all HPC provider must to finish 8 hours annaul training and send in certificate and documentation to keep in file.
This annaul training based on calebdar year. You can finish between Jan 1 to Dec 31. We request provider to do as early as possible to avoid any issue.

Proof of Completion agency provider annual required training for 2hrs
• The Bill of Rights for People with Developmental Disabilities and the NADSP Code of Ethics
• Introduction to Empathy-Based Care
• The Ohio Individual Service Plan (OISP)
• Supporting People with Dual Diagnoses
• Valued Roles


Optional training to meet state 8 hours annual training requirement 6hrs
• Health and Safety Annual Training (Optional) 35 minutes
• Choking and Falls Prevention (Optional) 25 minutes
• Trauma-Informed Care and Restrictive Measures (Optional) 35 minutes
• Immediate Actions and MUI Investigations (Optional) 25 minutes
• Understanding Consent and the Role of the Guardian (Optional) 35 minutes
• Review of 2023/4 Health and Welfare Alerts (Optional) 25 minutes
More added online, you can choose good topic you like to lean.

The otheragnecyrequired training:
• Review updated Sunshine Agency Employee Handbook.
• Review and sign all forms, scan all and send back to office for OH DODD audit process.
